The Product Launch Fever: How to Compete

Competing with the Product Launch Gurus

This is actually a fairly easy topic to discuss. When it comes down to competing with the Gurus on product launches, keep it simple. Simply don’t compete with them. In the internet marketing world we are inundated with offers in an ongoing effort to take, take, take from customers. This “Product Launch Fever” always seems to leave marketers with the question of how to compete.

Recently, I read a book titled “Blue Ocean Strategy“. It’s strategies of creating uncontested market spaces was crucial in realizing that, instead of competing with everyone in my market head on; it is much more beneficial to myself and my company to create an uncontested market. This strategy was introduced to me in the WEST Program, where Bob Yeager actually shows you how to apply this to the internet marketing world.

Finally, realize this. If your competition is launching online… do a bit of direct mail. If they are launching a physical product at a high cost, you should launch a digital product at low cost. If they are only offering audios and an ebook, you could offer a membership program with videos. Always do the oposite of what they are doing, then simply stack the added value and bonuses to make your offer more valuable and compelling… while keeping prices at a reasonable rate.

Remember, during this “Product Launch Fever” you do not need to know how to compete, simply focus on doing what others are NOT doing… and remember that your prices can always raise, incrementally, over time. Your primary concern, when it comes to this topic is learning a system that works… not just the product launch stuff; and delegating the tasks from that system to the proper people, softwares or other systems. I learned that in WEST and you can learn it by clicking here:

How to Find Great Products to Promote on Clickbank

An example of geta in the game of go
Image via Wikipedia

Imagine learning how to actually find great products to promote on Clickbank

No, it’s not rocket science at all. Finding great products is actually pretty easy to do when you are looking at Clickbank, as an affiliate. It used to be difficult to find good affiliate products to promote, not to mention; finding a legitimate merchant who would actually payout commissions on time, if at all!

With Clickbank, it’s become much easier to promote products online. I like to stick to certain guidelines when promoting different products from their site. First, I check to see if the gravity of the product is over 100. That indicates how many people have purchased that product through Clickbank.

Next, I take a look at affiliate referrals. If it is 65% or higher, you are usually in good shape because, that means that affiliates are actually pretty successful promoting that product. Finally, it’s all about the profit in the end; right?

Well, be sure that your commission is at least $35. I personally like to promote products that are between $65 USD and $97USD. If there are products out there, other than those on Clickbank, I’m looking for commission payouts of $500 USD and up!

If you follow those guidelines, you are in pretty good shape with Clickbank. But, how do you get targeted buyers to those products and beat out your competition without utilizing a bunch of expensive advertising? There is only one guide that I know of that can show you that… but it’s a secret, so don’t go telling everyone… I like to keep this stuff between you and I :)

What is the Clickbank Code to Success

The Clickbank Code to Success

There are a lot of internet marketers out there trying to tell you what the Clickbank Code to success is. It’s not rocket science. There is actually a ton of full proof methods to making sales with Clickbank.

Many ideas stem from successful Pay Per click marketing as well as review sites. I tend to get a bit tired of the review sites, considering virtually every review of a product from clickbank is from the affiliate who is selling the product.

I personally believe that the most successful way to earn money through sales on clickbank is the newest course called the Clickbank Code.

It’s not about waiting months to get results, it’s not about doing a ton of time consuming, tedious SEO tactics. It’s all about real marketing and simple to implement high converting copy.

I have to say, that out of all of the products that are out there, the Clickbank Code is one of the very few that gets the Net Strategy Marketing 5 star rating.

It’s one of the very few products that don’t use tired, old adwords tricks. It’s shows you some of those tricks, but it’s mainly about skyrocketing landing page quality score, for multiple keywords and getting rewarded by Google on a regular
basis. What’s truly nice is, through his newsletter, the author of the Clickbank Code truly does give you a nice step by step overview that isn’t hyped up and out of context with what the product delivers.

Check it out now and tell me what you think of it once you implement the Clickbank Code methods.

Perhaps, in the future, we can manage to get a good video interview with the author on Net Strategy Marketing.

Check it out for yourself and leave your comments on your progress with The Clickbank Code.

Choosing the Right Website Hosting Company

When Choosing the Right Website Hosting Company Keep This In Mind

It makes me laugh when something so simple as a web hosting account is made to sound so mystical. Web hosting is basically what stores your website and domain name on the internet. Without hosting, you have no place to publish your site so that customers and the general public have a place to find your information.

There are plenty of web hosting companies out there, but it is important to find a versatile and flexible hosting that has a couple of different elements to it. You are looking for a windows based host, with c-panel and fantastico. Fantastico is a free software component within your hosting account that allows you to install a wordpress blog, a Joomla content site and more.

We’ll call this my pick of the month. Simply click the banner above to learn more about Host I Can and their web hosting services.

In your hosting account, you are also looking to be able to host unlimited domain names as well as, have a large storage and unlimited bandwith. One hosting provider that I trust and has a quality support staff, which is crucial, is Host I Can. They understand the needs of internet business owners and their hosting services are top notch.

Split Testing and Tracking Sales Pages

Google Analytics ????????

When you don’t track and test, you become the market instead of the marketer!

It begins. You had a great idea for a product because you did a ton of market research. You paid all the right people to package the product into a down-loadable format and you even had a website built. You’ve been doing blog posts and viral marketing, when you realize… you haven’t been split testing and tracking your sales page!

The failures of Internet businesses are heavily related to laziness. Tracking and split testing is boring, it can be tedious and it can consume alot of your time. I know, I’m continuously split testing and tracking my sales pages, opt in pages, emails, subject lines and anything else I can test.

Funny thing is, most marketers don’t realize that split testing and tracking are dead simple. Take a look:

First, install Google Analytics and Google’s Website optimizer into your site pages. All of your site pages need to have this. Then, create two versions of your opt-in pages, two versions of your sales pages and two versions of your emails and subject lines.

Second, do keyword researched based upon the content of your web pages you have created, as well as what your market is continuously searching for. Be sure that these keywords show up at least 5% throughout each of your pages, in your headlines and your bullet points.

Now, do a bit of PPC advertising. Not so much that you are going to break your budget, just enough where you are sending 100 visitors to both of your opt-in pages, as well as both of your sales pages. We are not doing this to make a profit, just to test the sales pages to see which convert, if either, and the same with the opt-in pages.

When we see they convert a bit, we make one change to each of them at a time. Is the headline compelling with a call to action? If no, tweak it. Then, test again. Does your opt-in page have a video? No? Place a short 45 second video on there and send more traffic to it.

Test one opt-in page and one sales page with a video and another set without the video. Which converts better?

Once you reach a conversion where you are turning a hefty profit, chose the opt-in page and sales page that converts the best and scrap the other two. Now, simply run your traffic just to your op-tin page; whether it is PPC traffic or organic traffic.

Through split testing and tracking sales pages and opt-in pages (as well as open rates and click through rates on emails) we find what works the best. Too many people are rushing the process to make the quick buck. I like to increase my efforts in testing to make the big, long term and residual buck!
