This is actually a fairly easy topic to discuss. When it comes down to competing with the Gurus on product launches, keep it simple. Simply don’t compete with them. In the internet marketing world we are inundated with offers in an ongoing effort to take, take, take from customers. This “Product Launch Fever” always seems to leave marketers with the question of how to compete.

t begins. You had a great idea for a product because you did a ton of market research. You paid all the right people to package the product into a downloadable format and you even had a website built. You’ve been doing blogposts and viral marketing, when you realize… you haven’t been split testing and tracking your sales page!

So what is it being replaced by? Take your pick. RSS feeds, social bookmarking sites, You Tube channel subscribers, social networking groups. The list can go on forever, but it’s actually direct response marketing that is replacing the age old method of email marketing.
